I've been here since September, 2000, Moogie. I have dated men from here but the one thing that remains constant is the friendships...old and new. I have never dated anyone that wasn't a part of the forums. Forums and blogs are the best way to gain a little insight into someone.
So jump right in, Moogie, and start posting on the forums. Friendships and dating will follow...hopefully!

Blogs and forums are a real quick way to weed out the undesirables.
After I've read some of the blogs from some of the seriously wacked out women with insane views, I thank God that I never sent them an E-mail to start with.

No. It's not just a dating site. It's for friends as well.
They provide the forums, chat, and blogs as well. Many choose not to explore the different venues that are supplied to us. That is certainly their choice. But I do think that playing in the forums is the best way to meet other people.
