Life is way to short to beat about the bush and waste time and energy on people who just do not get "it"

its a scary world... too many scammers etc... if I ask, and someone says "No", its no big deal, lots of people to write to, yak with etc...
Life is too short to waste on anger or hostility... move on... lol

it's just another form of technology for communication...like my home phone or cell i decide if i want to talk to the person that is calling, if not i don't answer simple really ...

The guy had wrote back and said it's not like it's your phone number...But like nah said, it is another form of communication, and if I am being polite enough to tell you I don't give out my IM and if you want to be friends great...They shouldn't get pissy pants over it.

Is this thread about Instant messaging or telling the truth?
.imho... in this venue...they ( IM's )..are only needed if you don't have a good long distance plan... why IM if you can talk on the phone?
 Is Im'ing needed as another buffer?

It's about IM"ing and how you can honestly and politely tell someone no thanks...
I don't want to IM with anyone, besides the few friends that live far away, and I have no long distance plan here, I call someone who lives and hour away and it costs 25 dollars for a half hour conversation,lol...
People that write me, and I don't mean the scammer's...I tell them when they ask, I don't give out my IM but I'll chat with you here if you like, well they don't like that,lol...
Anyhoo, I'm just not gonna bother answering anymore, my politeness is not getting appreciated.

That's what I figure, if they just wanted friends, it wouldn't bother them. I have lot's of "friends" I just talk to on here.

little fender..  little gf of mine......... .......I don't care to give out my personal info...  .......and IM is really time consuming.....  ...............If I am going to talk I will do it by phone.... .....I don't want to be stuck sitting there .........when I can be multi tasking which I usually am doing things when I get online......half the time I am not even here  I only have a handfull that I talk too.......plus I am gold so if I want to chat with someone I can for a few minutes................otherwise............I don't see the need to go outside of here.........to chat or give personal information...........because the site is free .. ......plain and simple you can email and everything here without giving your personal information........... ...There are other things..........I will email you......about.........  certain things........

I have only IM'd with one guy from her.. but I figured out he was just playing me.. so now I just don't reply.. the only other requests I get are from scammers wanting my Yahoo ID.. I just tell them I don't give out my personal ID to strangers.. I have only had a couple get nasty over my refusal..

I actually bought a mic, to record my songs though, I still am unable to use it and my pc has a soundcard so... Another mystery I'll have to figure out,lol...
