I thought I would start it. Whats everyone doing this week end? We are going to a celebration that will have fly overs at a military base, and then watching fireworks. Oh and BBQ of course! Then on Saturday evening watch the Nascar race from Daytona!

I'm on call so there may be no fireworks for me.

Off to my sisters. Cook like fiends, play on the jet ski's. Watch the kids move their incredable bodies on the wake board. It's awesome to watch!

watching out for all those watermelon eating men....
A slice of cool, fresh watermelon is a juicy way to top off a Fourth of July cookout and one that researchers say has effects similar to Viagra — but don't necessarily expect it to keep the fireworks going all night long.
Watermelons contain an ingredient called citrulline that can trigger production of a compound that helps relax the body's blood vessels, similar to what happens when a man takes Viagra, said scientists in Texas, one of the nation's top producers of the seedless variety. Watermelon
Happy 4th everyone!!!! be safe

Up early and heading to water aerobics. I heard several people are bringing snacks for after to celebrate the 4th. Home to make my family's favorite macaroni salad, even though I'll be the only one to eat it! Myabe a phone call or 2 to family. Watch fireworks on tv tomorrow nite. Too dry down here for much in the way of live fireworks.

Today I put up a flagpole and while I raised the flag I took my hat off.I didnt know it but the lady that hired me to set the pole in concrete was watching me out her window. When I was done she came out and gave me two twenties, then she went back into her purse and gave me a ten.She said the ten was a tip because I took my hat off even when I thought nobody was looking. I gave her back the ten and the two twenties and told her since she had purchased all the materials and all I had to do was dig a hole, set the pole and dump a bag of concrete,Happy Fourth of July! She is one of my best customers. Tomorrow I'm going to stack a load of firewood I cut today, visit my mom in the nursing home, fire up the grill and watch a bobber. My flag? Its always flying.
