Many of us have been victims of censorship recently. Having your thoughts or opinions stifled by those in power who do not agree with us. Is that the American way? Be like me, or STFU.

Yeah, I read that yesterday. About the picture of the romanian kid smoking a cigarette being pulled from yahoo.
Im not saying they dont have the right to do it. I just think it sucks. It makes sense though, coming onto someones website and making forum posts is much like going into someones house and saying what you want. Some people might just throw you out of their house if you say the wrong thing.
We have fewer and fewer rights every day.

it's really about the proper venue to express yourself. You can say something that some may think is offensive at the right time and place, but not any place at any time.

There are differences in venues. If someone is offended here by something too explicit, they may have a legitimate right to be (even in the sex threads) - that's why there's a need for AMD. If they go to AMD and are offended, they have NO right to be - and I'll be the first (OK, YNOT will probably be the first) I'll be the second to tell them to STFU and stop complaining.
The question is, of course, where to draw the line for each venue.
