I agree you guys.
It's interesting though.
For example, I don't think a single person around me would describe me as shy, but often times I feel that way. So, am I shy at times? I say yes, and my nearest and dearest would first A.) pee laughing at the very idea, and then B.) emphatically say no.

I think I've been bitch-slapped by reality enough times that my self-image is largely a reflection of what I've been told. So, I guess I have come to believe largely that I am what others think (and tell me) I am.

It's not so much about caring what other people think of you - it's more a question of how "accurate" they are in their assessments. I'm certainly not saying we need to give a flying f*uck

People usually get a complete wrong idea of me. They either think I'm a sweet and gentle person or a complete and total bitch, when the truth is that my personality lies somewhere in the middle and can vary between the two extremes.
So therefore I am what I think I am.

Hey, I'm not a total bitch all the time so you think you can make room every once in awhile? Sometimes stuff goes awry with my medication.
