Should you be upfront about your weight in you add? |

I am a plus sized girl and I believe in being honest about my size before I meet someone. I published my weight which is 211 lbs and my height 5'3" so that people will know upfront that I am not skinny. I'm really confused though I still get guys that see my weight and want a date and then when we go out they say they aren't attracted to me because I'm bigger. So am I wrong about being upfront or should I just not include my weight in my add? Help me out here please.

Who knows what is going on with these guys, but the best policy is always to be honest.

I mention that I am big several times in my profile. I don't post my weight but my body type says big & beautiful. But when I start talking with someone, I make sure they understand I'm big, and that I have a slight disability.

Honesty in this area in particular is very important because anything else is false advertising and will always get the wrong result. You may still get the wrong result, but not with everyone. There are plenty of guys that like larger women. I'm just not one of them
ETA: As far as friends are concerned weight and size are NOT an issue for meat all.

I have noticed in men's profiles however, that the way they describe their proportions is strange! Ine guy who is 5'8" and weighs 220 says he is average. Another guy who is 6 ft tall and weighs 165 says he is average. Apparently MOST men, think they are average, no matter what!

But if you take a full body pic, usually the face is too small to see features!

It's just hard to take pics of myself. Maybe I can get a friend to take some new ones after school starts. I do have some that I can put up when I have my laptop hooked up at school again. It's too hard trying to move my whole computer desk at home to find where the USB cord goes!! LOL Then everyone can see just how fat and fluffy I really am!

I just don't say anything at all about my weight. It should be obvious from a persons picture.
