Sorry....I'm going  right from the get-go here.....
Savannah is such a lovely place. I've only been there once...way back in 1976. It will always be a place I want to go back to. I want to visit for a while & drink it all in.
As for "home being where the heart is," I'm exactly where I was born & raised......but I am not positive it is where I always want to be. I'd love to find my heart at home with a special someone....WHERE EVER that may be...........

I was born in Minnesota and now live in Texas. There are many places I still want to visit. But for me, the ideal thing would be winter in Texas, summer in Minnesota.

I was born in the mountain area of Pennsylvania and spent my childhood there. Then my family moved to FL, eventually I got married and 14 years later we moved to the mountains of NC. I've been back and forth to FL due to family business and now I'm back here in the mountains of NC. This is home and will be until my earth time is up

I was born and raised in Minnesota, Land of 10,000 lakes, 250,000,000,000 mosquitoes, and 3 fish...
I've lived on both coasts, in the south, and overseas.... but I always come back here... we have the summers that California wishes they had... but we also have the winters that Siberia has...
Paul Bunyan found Babe the Blue Ox here, after a snowstorm that was so cold even the snow was blue... that winter he and Babe walked all over the state, and the claim is our lakes were formed when the blue snow melted into those footprints and places they laid down...
My great grandfather rode the lumber camps on the weekends and after his shifts at the Railyard in Brainerd, his church still stands, and is part of the historical record...
Taconite is still mined here in the giant open pit iron ore mines, Gordon Lightfoot wrote and sang a song about a November gale that sank a freighter on Lake Superior in 1975, the orange glow of the iron ore cliffs on the North shore of Superior at sunrise are a sight all should see...
its my home, raw, rugged, beautiful, and never tamed

I have lived in Portugal, Egypt and here in Texas right now.. but my home is England, the green fields.. open countryside.. no threat of weird bugs or snakes..
The warm summer evening without mosquitos and the white frost on the houses and cars that decorate the trees with a glisten in the winter.
The polite and friendly folk that live in my homeland, thier smiles and warmth will be with me everywhere.

Even if in my later life I am living 5,000 miles away...New Jersey will always be where my heart is. I love this f***in' place.

My home is where evr the love of my life is.
I was born and raised in Ohio. ( Go Buckeyes!) 
Moved to Michigan when I got married the first time. ( go Buckeyes)
I look for my home to be on the open road some day with my man and an RV.

My home is near the water. 
One of them is here on the Crawfish River where I can launch a boat and go downriver,hit the Rock river which hits the Missisippi which empties into the Gulf which empties into the world.
The other is on a chain of lakes called the Cisco on the border of Wisconsin and Michigan.
Both homes have fish nearby.

I started out in upstate NY but lived most of my life in Queens, and loved it, but when I landed out here in the desert I felt immediately that the stork had made a 2500 mile error, cuz this was home. I love my oasis, with a bunch of four-leggd family and an open sky with mountains to look at and climb, and of course a man in my life who makes life a lot more interesting than it's been in years.
This is home.

Was born is Arkansas but raised and spent most of my formative years in Michigan. Have lived many places over the years but right now home is here in Arkansas and will remain here as long as my Mother is liviing. When she is gone I will decide where home will be till the end of my time on this earth.

I've been to a lot of places...even lived in Africa for a short while as a kid. There are many beautiful places in this country and around the world and I'd like to see more of them before I die. But the Flinthills region of Kansas has always been home, and always will be!
