Hey Gang,
Thought I would share my exciting weekend with you all.
I took last Friday off, to work on my stone wall. Had a good time and made lots of progress and things just went very well. Until late afternoon when I noticed a disturbing pain in my backside. I've been having some hemmi problems lately, and figured it had something to do with that. It did.
Turns out I had a giant blood clot form. Very painful. Went to the doctor and he said it was the largest he'd every seen....thought I might be giving birth instead of having a hemmorhoid  He cut it out and patched me up, but I had trouble with it bleeding. Got it stopped finally and he sent me home.
Saturday morning I woke up early and it was immediately obvious that I had bled out during the night. They sent me to the ER and to make a long story short, they had to do emergency surgery to get the bleeding stopped. Finally got out of the hospital last night.
So now it would appear that I'm a pain in my own ass instead of everyone else's
They gave me some pretty good pain meds and I spend a lot of time soaking in a hot tub of water and rubbing numbing lotion on myself....what a way to spend the summer!
Anyway, I won't be on MD a lot as it still hurts to sit for very long. Just wanted to say howdy to my MD friends and let you know that this pig has been stuck..and now I know why they came up with the phrase. "Bled like a stuck pig"!!!

Thanks friends.I appreciate the well wishes. I think the worst is going to be when I start feeling better, but still can't actually DO anything. Not being able to lift anything, or sit on a motorcycle is going to drive me nuts. I hate inactivity! By mid-week I hope I can at least putter in my workshop a bit. A bored piggy is NOT a good thing!
Mrs Bacon has been wonderful, but pray for her...having me stuck in the house with little or nothing to do but pester her can't be good...can it?
And girlfriends....I don't know how you do that "thing" once a month! Lordy, just one night of that was terrible! My already great respect for women has gone up a few more notches after this weekend!!!
Oh boy...time for another hydrocodone!!!

Hmmm, you know...the pain is still pretty fresh in my mind...think I'll turn down the offers to star in Deliverance II...besides, Ned Beatty would be a hard act to follow!
