I know almost every old song by heart. I have a knack at memorizing songs I don't even like, yet I can't remember other things that are more important.

Learn to think of a "tune" to the things you know you need to remember. It'll help. Has to do with right brain/left brain dominance.

I am equally right/left brained.
I used to play tennis.
I worked graveyard shift at a motel for several years.

Before breaking my hip in 2000, I'd never broken a bone in my life!

Ive broken 13 bones so far in my life. Ive sky dived several times but you cant get me on a roller coaster.

I'm a painter, a calligrapher, and I'm good at both of those things.
Sometimes I teach those things. I do big cakes, i.e. for weddings.
I get the most satisfaction from working with my hands. And
also have never broken a bone. I love the symphony. My son
was juried into one of 7 seats at his University of over 20,000
students. Listening to them play was so beautiful, it brought
tears. I've taken a homeless person to breakfast. I try to do
small acts of charity where I can, hoping people will remember
to pass it on when they're able.

WOW......I cant compete with that.....good on ya pamme....your a multi-skilled woman....... 
I have fostered children from Afghanistan....in the last 5 years. I also have a 1/2 caste aborigine foster brother. I have cared for many international students.....mainly from asian countries. I consider myself a lousy cook.....but friends and students tell me it isnt so.....LOL. I cant bake a cake for toffee......only small cup cakes. I am a very loving........and social creature......and value good friendships from female and male alike. I have a maltese dog called Bobby.....and 2 cats......a white one called Nellie.....and a tortoiseshell one called Puss.........
