I might make a funny comment on a pic on a rare occasion. I've read some of the comments on women's photos and to me they seem a little desperate hoping the woman will be attracted to them.

 What I find even more annoying than the annoying comments is the fact that people KEEP the comments on their pics. Yeah, I've deleted a few myself.
