As I had it explained to me, current events is not the place to put a tribute to our men and women in the military, past and present. I am hoping to create a thread saying welcome home to my friend's husband's unit from Iraq. They will be landing in various parts of the country tonight, and there was no one plane to meet. I was thinking of making a thread with tributes and welcome home from MD members. I found some YouTube videos that touched my heart, so I am going to be posting them here as well.
I welcome anyone to post a welcome home to the brave men and women coming home tonight.

I am certain I can include all of my very large family We lost my nephew in Iraq. He was of course son, grandson, nephew to many, cousin to many, husband and father. We thank all of these men, women and their families for their committment!!

I do too. 'My' serviceman (her hubby) sent that one to me, shortly after he arrived there. I have played it every day that he has been gone, and will continue to do so until they all are home!
