For me, ...it's heck no!
But, at night, before I go to bed, if I haven't made it that morning I have to
make it to crawl in it. I have a featherbed on it, and I need it to be
fluffy!

I make my bed every single morning. It's a sickness, really...but I can't help it!!! I have to fight the urge to make the bed in a hotel room...in fact, will at least through the covers up before I leave....

 Yep, anal.
 Not in the mood.
It gets made once a week when I put on the clean sheets. Once again, Duvvy and I are on the same page.

in the Navy I had to make my bed to exacting standards, these days I straighten the comforter, but you can't bounce a quarter on the sheets

No problem...I usually end up sleeping on the couch with the TV as my lullaby - one dog by my feet, one by my head, one cat next to me and another one or two sleeping on the backrest.
I know, I'm weird. I even keep a travel alarm clock on the table there, but the animals are the best alarm around. The cat that I cuddle with is Charlie Chaplin, my 16 year old stroke victim. It's been a few months, but other than tilting his head, he's doing just fine.
See, this way it's almost worthwhile making the bed, at least it stays made for a couple of days...

Yes the bed is made... the fou fou pillows are arranged just so, and a Fat Pug is draped across for effect.

I spray vanilla on the sheets and then make the bed every morning! Before I head off to work, the dog has to have his bed just so or he will trash the place while I am gone!
