Scorpion? That my dear, is a solifuge, known commonly in the middle east as a camel spider, although it is not a spider.

The solifuge is one ugly little bastard, but he is totallly harmless to humans. Of course that probably won't help if you find one crawling on you and you instantly fill your pants.

I gotta hand it to you Cyn. I could never live in New York. I have to be close to the vast wild places. At least those that are still left.

Believe it or not where I live in my neighborhood there is woods and we have tons of geese, ducks, swans, squirrels, groundhogs, bunnies, deer, wild turkey and now coyote!!!
Well the coyote do not run around, its hard to spot one.
I was stunned when an actual coyote walked in front of my car one day, but the deer are running all along the highways.
If we want caves we have to travel pretty far, I think there cool

By the way, you can all feel free to post there if you would like to tell any stories about your experiences in the desert country, if you have any, or if you want to talk about any of the pics. You do not have to register or anything like that.
