I was cleaning and organizing my kitchen today and when I got to the top of my shelves, there sits my champion juicer, and I think, that was a stupid thing I did.
Ok here is the story; a couple years ago I saw this Champion juicer at the heath food store, I saw it make nut butters, it juices veggies and fruit, and I think how cool, but they wanted $325 for it.
So I went on line and found one on ebay for $150.
When I received it, I turned it on and was really impressed by the build quality, and since I live between two places, I though I would buy a second one on ebay which cost me $135.
Here’s the dumb part, other than turning them on to make sure they work after I bought them , I have never used them.

I think we all do things like that Kenn. One dumb thing I find myself doing often is putting on my turn signal as I go around a curve in the road! LOL I also read catalogs from back to front. Another little quirk of mine! hahahahahaha

Two weeks ago I was vacuuming. I backed up and fell backwards into a box containing my old computer after I had already dropped a chair on my foot and fallen on my ass ... while vacuuming.
The other day I was looking for my keys and discovered I was holding them.

I have a $200 pasta maker and bread maker. I rarely eat pasta, let alone make it (used it twice) and I don't really like bread!!! Smells good when it's cooking though!!!

I talk to myself waaay too much and answer back and it really causes problems when there are people around...one of the downsides of living alone  (shhhh-I did it before I lived alone  )

Kenn, only two juicers? I have a collection of kitchen gadgets that's mind-boggling. The Kitchen-Aid stand mixer that gathers dust, a couple of do-it-all appliances, George Foreman grills, and yes, juicers too. I started emptying out cabinets and now I'm planning on giving them to Big Brothers/Sisters. ...it's time to simplify.
Really dumb stuff though - wearing cute shoes that don't fit and living with leg spasms that kept me mostly sleepless for months.
I was shopping this weekend and put my reading glasses on to read labels. When I walked out of the store I tried to put my sunglasses on over the reading glasses.

I LOVE my Kitchen Aid stand mixer. That's the one thing in the kitchen
I wouldn't want to give up, Heaven.
Confession of my dumb thing. I got coffee at the deli next to my office.
Chatted with the same guy morning after morning. Picked up my coffee,
went to leave and instead of throwing coins into the tip cup, I threw them
in his full coffee cup. We both just stared at it for a minute, and then started
cracking up. How embarrassing.

I have to include this because just did it.
Walking through the doorway between the kitchen and the living room with flipflops on and I slammed my pinky toe on the edge of the doorway.
Did I say Ouch.

instead of throwing coins into the tip cup, I threw them in his full coffee cup. OMG...that's too funny!!! I actually saw someone do that...had that same delayed reaction, then couldn't stop laughing!!!

Bargains are usually defunct and/or blemished. For the long haul, it's best to invest the little extra moolah for new product or to not buy at all. I know all too well, lesson learned the hard way. Nothing better than purchasing a new item!

For some reason I store my toilet paper in the hallway linen closet. I've discovered this is stooopid when I'm stranded on the toilet with only that last little square of paper that is glued excessively to the roll.
