Posts: 652 I thought I would look into getting a government grant to start a business, but....there are alot of scam sites online for grants. Does anyone know of a legitimate site, or the actual federal government sites for grants?

Unfortunately, "pickens" are slim these days when it comes to grants.

They're going to become even tougher due to new realignment of government financing due to the upcoming "bailout".

If you can wait, next year sometime, things should be settled and you'll likely have a better chance at obtaining a grant.

Posts: 4,333 you just have to check all of the links out .. a friend of mine is checking out grants to start an animal recue business on his farm.. I just googled business grants and was surprised that there were pages of them to go through..
