Do guys do stupid stuff that other guys "pick up on" thinking... "do women really find that cute???" &/or "What do women really think when guys do that?"

For example...we have a guy that comes in where I work and for awhile would wod up paper to throw across the room into the waste basket in front of me "shooting hoops" you know, like guys did way back in junior high. It cracked me up (kinda - not to be confused with made me want him.)

So yesterday one of the female employees is flirting with a client she's been trying to get at. Even though, of course it's inappropriate to flirt with clients in the first place. But still she does.... AND... Not only is she "hitting on him" she all of a sudden decides to lean back in her chair and fold her hands in back of her head which she never does.

I simply have to shake my head.... does it really impress guys when women are so blatant with the body language? "Here... look at my boobs"

(I sigh)

I suppose it does (I continue to shake her head.)

I have a friend who sucks in her cheeks and kind of puckers her mouth. Funniest thing ever. But yeah...the guys flock to her.

Go figure.

More often than not, it works. Otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.

I wouldn't say "impress" .... it needs to be recognized as just a way to get and keep their attention .... and to keep her in mind after the fact .... some guys will base decisions on that alone, which to me pretty much makes them worthless at what they're doing .... and she isn't much better if she has to resort to those tactics.

Oh... I DO hope there a lot of guys agreeing with you, LB.

At any rate, the ones I'd be interested in would be thinking your way. I suppose it works for guys looking for a "quick fix" (of sorts.) And since I'm not into "quick fixes" 'supose I should just sing, It don't matter to me. rather than being disgusted.

I have seen some woman act like a ritual of animals in heat...

In turn have seen some men react like a bull answering a mating call...

I used to work with some very attractive, 20-something sales gals. One of them came in my office one day saying she had a VERY important meeting with a client that could result in a huge sale. She was laughing about how she had made sure to wear her lowest cut blouse that day and was sure her boobs would win the sale. She was right.

It struck me funny because my generation fought to remove sexual harrassment in the workplace and her generation has no clue.

What PMO izzzzzzzzz......

that it seems today's women want men to "react" so they (the women) can squeal... "Oh you naughty man!" or sue 'em for big $$$$.

Our generation also had a name for gals like that. My daughter said they still use it... "tease". No sweetie, in my time it was a definite kind of "teaseR"

Oh... my... did my fingers type that????

If I did the leaning back in the chair thing, with my luck the chair would fall over! Sexy is just not me. Anything I try turns into gracelessness and clumsiness! So I quit trying.

I think that you reap what you sow!!! If you act like a slut, you're going to get a slut (of the opposite sex)...so why act that way? Fun is fun but blatant, shameless flirting is disgusting!!! Male or female...just shows what kind of person they are!!

We had a salesman in the OR that used to (obviously) flex his chest and ass when he walked around the nurses!!! Please...I thought he would hurt himself

^^^^ that's funny kind of.

I keep trying to get a "sultry" look going for a picture. (I practice in the bathroom mirror.) Don't know why I keep trying. I know it just isn't in me. All I end up getting is a sore side from laughing so hard at myself.

I don't recall, did it work for Tom Sawyor?

we have a guy that comes in where I work and for awhile would wod up paper to throw across the room into the waste basket in front of me "shooting hoops"
Dont think he really cared at that moment what ya thought was cute. Good shot maybe, but not cute.
Now if perhaps written upon the crumbled up piece of paper were the words, pstt, Im to nervous to talk right now, but ya kind of cute. Coffee?" and he was throwing them at you from across the office. Well I hope that's viewed as cute. If not, oh well, still very effective.

yesterday one of the female employees
Well as a guy that would make and excellent meeting, and all signs were go. til I left the building and said no way. I have no more respect for her.

The deals not only off, and never gonna happen, I may drag it out. Why? Because its free boobs and you just tried to play me as a fool, because you think I got what I wanted and it's thanks I'm done? No, see I didn't feel like you earned it, the right to stretch for me to make me BE a fool. Come on ya really think us men after oh just as long as you have been here, possibly a little longer. After all this time we haven't heard of the stretch? We know what that flirting is, a " trying to get at". The man that falls for this, is a man that hits the ground soon after wards.

I'm sitting in this buy out mediation for a bankrupt restaurant chain. This hot as honey is sitting there too. In a black paint tight number with most of her goods hanging out. My boss was running late. When he comes in grabs his seat across from honey and says, I'm gonna tell you what I tell my employees, you want to work, you need to go home and dress properly. She left, but never came back.

I dunno. I'm so clueless I wouldn't have picked up on even that signal. Ha ha.

Oh Burns & Lobo - you are both such cuties & sweeties!

Burns -- I really admire your boss... and you of course !

BTW.... the paper wods were not the only signals I was getting from this guy. But yes, looking at it from your viewpoint, they were effective. By my ignoring the "cute signals", but continuing to talk, the "signals" have ceased.

Question: (paper wods etc.) You interested, giggle if so.

Answer: No giggles, but we can talk and be just good acquaintances.

Mission accomplished on both sides I do believe. Effective, no harm, no shame, no blame. Yes - very effective. Thanks for the insight, Burns.
