How we see others

Things aren't what they appear to be.

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood.

The next morning, while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees
The neighbor hang up the wash outside.

'That laundry is not very clean, she said, she doesn't know how to wash Correctly. Perhaps she needs a different laundry soap."
The husband looked on, but remained silent.
Every time her neighbor would hang out the wash, the young woman would Make the same comment. About on month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash On the line and said to her husband, 'Look! She has learned how to wash

Correctly. I wonder who taught her this?

Her husband said, 'I got up early this morning and washed the windows."

And so it is with life: What we see while watching others, depends on
The purity of the window through which we look.

Interesting way to look at life, Snappy. I may need to try to look at things from my students' perspective. I know I come off like the teacher from hell this year!

As was I .. it hit home with me also..having been guilty of the same thing but I have worked hard over the past years to change that.

We are all a "work in progress"...when we stop having the desire to change then we stay in the "rut of life". I have always embraced change and challenges.....but this latest challenge is not quite what I had in mind

Bet you are wrong about being the teacher from hell

Thats a neat story, but if it was true, wouldnt the woman question why the neighbors always had dirty faces too?

I like to see others naked.

I don't know Snappy--seems my class can do nothing right as far as I'm concerned this year. I feel like all I do is yell at them. I hope somewhere in amongst the yelling, they are learning something!
