I found MD by accident...Literally clicked something by accident and next thing I knew I was here and hooked! I made friends that I love...Never had a date on here. Never will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm here for entertainment and laughs...I know some are here seeking love. I however am not one of them...
...I wish you all the best in finding what you look for on here. Remember...Laughter can be addictive, especially when it's at other peoples expense.

Hey Gf  I also found it by accident and found some of my closest friends  ^ here and love to have fun here........everyone is super nice well..........almost.......99% of them 
 It's a fun place to come into and just play

I originally came here because I was banned from another dating site because I stuck up for a friend. Ugh! No, I won't mention the name. I missed posting in the forums and running around, so she told me to come here, that she had an account on this site and it had the forums. I never intended to ever be wanting to meet someone on a dating site. Filled out the profile because I had too!
She eventually left, and I ended up staying. Alot of nice people. I've been here for over 3 yrs now.
I was here in the forums that very minute of getting the phone call, when tragedy hit my heart and knocked me down on my ass so hard, I swear, I broke my back again  for a 2nd time. Yes, I'm talking about my sons tractor accident Strangers, who had become friends, true friends, real friends, friends I will never forget helped me get through the most horrific time of my life.
I popped in and out during my grieving process, leaving the forums for almost 2 yrs and heading over to blogland. I blogged about everything If only to help someone else that was going through the same thing I was...Mourning the loss of a child 
I just came back to the forums a couple weeks ago. I felt it was time! God speed, I stay here though
Never in my life did I'd think I'd be wanting to meet someone on a dating site.....but I'm now up for the challenge

cant remember was so long time ago.
funny thing is i dont even remember i was signed in this site till stalkers started sending me messages and my mailbox started saying "you got new message from MatchDcotor" 
so when i came back i decided to give it a shot in meeting new people

I was wondering though...If I already had a boyfriend and we were together and both on here but I didn't meet him on here does that still count as dating someone from here?

No fender...It just means you're both accquaintances on here....Just means you're dating and you both come here is all
And Thank You fender and Myst....but sometimes I don't think I'm as strong as I should be...No one see's me behind this monitor....crying like a baby Wishing he was here.

hmm made many many friends on here that i call sister... and some crazy fellas i just call.. MR nah lol any way had a date or 2 from here but didnt meet my hubby here.. but i stay for my friends and the forums..Sweet n Louisiana

well, I've been here on MD for yrs but never really tired finding somone on here until this yr, found out it ain't gonna happen in the chat room, and I truly wonder if it will ever happen on this site and why am I still here... 
sorry to learn about your son, ponie, I know exactly what your going thru, espically the crying behind the screen part when I wish the son I lost was still here too...

Cause the other dating site I was on became a pay site so a bunch of us moved over here from there mainly for the chatroom which I quit going too a few years ago....been here a long time..not looking though...gave it up for a lost cause..Why still here?..Too lazy to remove my profile ..and theres always a laugh or two in the forums...

Awwww Thank You Thor!! I'm sure you also get sick of hearing how "sorry" people are. Sometimes we just need the hugs and physical comfort. I wish I could hug you hon, but I'll have to hug you this way ((((thor)))))....I know we have something in common now.

One thing I've learned along the way though...don't ever pay more attention to what you're missing than you do to what you've got, or you'll find yourself missing even more down the road. We all lose people we love, but we have to remember the ones we still have with us, and that they need us far more than the one we lost.
I think I've already posted in this thread, but I'll say it again...I found the place by accident. I went to a get together in Tahoe, with a bunch of total strangers (my real life friends told me I was nuts) and they truly felt like family that I'd just never met before. That's why I stay, even though I found someone IRL who makes me happier than I ever thought I would be again, for that family that I found here.

Awww.........ponie............. I know what you mean........I have many many friends that including myself ........we are not always up and smiley all the time......but coming here.....when people are here 24 hours a day somewhere around the world there is someone you can always talk too......
I know I am always concerned for my friends here and .....I am there for them unconditionally......so if you ever need someone just ask.........people here are good about being supportive and that is what makes this place good.........everyone has there moments but the truth is ..........Laughter is the best medicine to get you thru xoxoxoox
