who watches the Macy's thanksgiving day parade and why?

Every year i get SOOOO excited to hang out and watch the Macy's day parade. There is nothing in particular i want to see while watching it...just the parade as a whole. I think this is mainly due to tradition....adds to the feeling of thanksgiving when unable to be with my family.

guess I'm a stick in the mud...... I don't watch it...... too much talk goes on and not enough time spent showing the marching bands.... but thats just me....
besides, I'm usually too busy cooking and stuff.....
I know... just kick me to the curb

Uno will be on the Snoopy float this year - (4th float) - - - he is the dog that won Westminister this year - the Beagle  Dumb reason I know but its always nice to see friends that have done well during the year. After that - its back to the kitchen for dinner prep -

I watch it every year, inbetween basting the turkey, making the side dishes, keeping the kitchen going full steam ahead. This year dinner is at my son's house, the pies were made tonight, I have one side dish to make tomorrow and roast a 21 lb. turkey. Dinner is not until 3 o'clock so I can watch the whole parade tomorrow (wonder which balloon will deflate or take on a life of it's own).

I lalays do. It reminds of me of watching it with my Grammy, especially when Santa shows up at the end. Then I knew that Xmas was really coming

No buy out needed this year. But I sure do hope that Pilgrim guy that was walking in the beginning of the parade, has health insurance. His big balloon head was laying on his shoulder.....
