It's 11 pm , dark as hell, cold runs the room and you're in the bed nice and warm when all of a sudent a phone rings, you get up fighting the cold wearing just your shorts, thinking that something wrong must have happen, and answer the damn phone cos a "ringing phone must be answered" (phonebooth):
"Hello?" - you say
and a sweet voice on the other end replys- "hello am i talking to mister ****?"
you: - "yes it is i"
the voice: - "hello dear **** , im talking from the company phone and we are making a study with all of our clients to see if they're happy with the services we provide.
could you spare a few minutes to answer our questionary?"
you: - "listen up sweety. i know you must be all sexy and some for the sweet voice you're putting into my ears trying to hipnotise me and all, i know that your bosses put you through this calling people all the time to make questions just too see if they're ripping us off and all, but please, have some consideration, IT'S 11 PM, ITS COLD, I AM IN MY SHORTS, AND I WAS ALREADY IN BED ... SLEEPING"
the voice: - "i understand , and i apoligise for this whole situation, but if you hang a little bit we can do this in 5 minutes"
(yeah right last time i was 40 minutes on the phone)
you: - "sorry but no i dont have 5 minutes in fact im gonna file a complain against the company cos the viagra effect is wearing off due to this phone call"
the voice: - (releases a gasp) "im so sorry sir, i see you dont wanna do the questionary, then maybe i might interesting you in getting one of our night plans where you talk for free from 7 pm to 7 am during the whole week for just 5€ monthly fee"
you hang up the phone thinking all is solved when 2 minutes later they phone you back trying to get you on the speech sales.  
dont you just hate when this things happens?
tell one of your stories here, funny or just purely hateful about this companies that have no respect for our resting hours.

At this point I put the phone down for a solid 5
minutes thinking that, surely, this person would
have hung up the phone. I ate my salad. Much to
my surprise, when I picked up the receiver, they
were still waiting.

AT&T: Is this Mr. Byron?
ME: May I ask who is calling, please?
AT&T: Yes, this is AT&T ...
ME: The phone company?
AT&T: Yes, sir.
ME: I already have a phone.
AT&T: We aren't selling phones today, Mr. Byron.
We would like to offer you 10 cents a minute, 24
hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

AT&T: What are you talking about?

comes to $144 per day, $1008 per week and
$52,560 per year. I'm just interested in knowing
how you will be making payment.
AT&T: Oh, no, sir. I didn't mean we'd be paying you.

ME: Wait a minute, how do you figure that by saying

subliminal telemarketing scheme?? I've read
about things like this in the Inquirer, you know.
AT&T: No, sir, we are offering 10 cents a minute for
ME: THERE YOU GO AGAIN! Can I speak to a
supervisor please?
AT&T: Sir, I don't think that is necessary.
ME: I insist on speaking to a supervisor.
AT&T: Yes, Mr. Byron. Please hold.
At this point, I begin trying to finish my dinner.
SUPERVISOR: Mr. Byron?
ME: Yeth?
SUPERVISOR: I understand you are not quite
understanding our 10 cents a minute program.
ME: (I had to swallow before I choked on my food. It
was all I could do to suppress my laughter and I
had to be careful not to produce a snort.) No,
actually, I was just waiting for someone to get back
to me so that I could sign up for the plan.
SUPERVISOR: OK, no problem, I'll transfer you
back to the person who was helping you.
ME: Thank you. I was on hold once again and
managed a few more mouthfuls. I need to end this
conversation. Suddenly, there was an aggravated
but polite voice at the other end of the phone.
AT&T: Hello, Mr. Byron, I understand that you are
interested in signing up for our plan?
ME: No, but I was wondering - do you have that
"Friends and Family" thing because I'm an only
child and I'd really like to have a little brother...
AT&T: click........

seriously i dont understand , the lack of consideration they have for the costumers to call theyr homes at that late hour.
if it was during the day, maybe i wouldnt care so much, but for F@ck sake at 11 pm its just being nuts.
maybe next time i do that thing on the video

Since I'm too cheap to have an unlisted number, my phone is listed under a previous last name and the first name is one of my dogs - if someone accidently gets through, the dog that I have now is trained to bark on command, I will put him up to the phone and let him "talk" to them - that usually stops the callbacks

Mom I loved that and I hate being called 2.
Right now I have my high speed, landline and digital cable all bundled...They have been calling me constantly offering me what I already have. SO I called and asked nicely for them to stop since I can't re-get what I already have...They are still calling

i feel sorry for this guy.... he obviously havent went to school much ... well enough to realise the word "fascinateded" is not well written...

but hes mistakes were far more atrocious than a spelling contest, take the example he is 33 year old and he is studing .. ok i can go with that, i just dont see me studing at the age of 33 (hopefuly i'll be country President by then )
