Have you ever lived or worked in a foreign country? Have you thought about living in another country?

I've never worked in another country but I was born in Germany and lived there the first two years of my life. I don't remember anything about it though. I often think about living in another country. I would mind going over to the U.K. and living in Scotland or Ireland. I know there are U.K. natives that have a problem with that but I can't help it...It's gorgeous over there.
Oh yeah I forgot to mention Canada...I wouldn't mind becoming a Canadian citizen...That is such a beautiful country.

As soon as I finish up college and have enough money saved up I'm planning on going to europe and just making my way from place to place...living for a little while in each place. It's been my dream my whole life.

I lived in Germany for 14 months back in 80-81. My husband was in the Army and stationed there. We lived in a tiny, little town called Hohenhaslach and I was the only American girl there. I sure found out quickly that Germans at that time either loved or hated the Americans. It was absolutely beautiful there! Unfortunately, I was young and missing home desperately and didn't take advantage of the experience.
Over the years, I've travelled to Italy, Scotland, France, Canada, and Mexico. Each and everyone of those places have given me a taste of beauty and history and I'd love to some day be able to go back and do further exploring, but HOME will always be the good ol' USofA!!!!!

I'll be visiting Prague soon, if all goes as planned. My work group is actually spread over 3 cities, and I could transfer there if I wanted to, so far there's no temptation though. Definitely no temptation for Kuala Lumpur (the third one); spent enough time in the far east to know it's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.

I lived in South Korea for a month about 3 years back. I loved it. I began learning Korean when I returned, and if the right door opened for me to go back, I'd spend the rest of my life there.

I want to move to Italy as soon as my children are out of the house. I think I would probably visit there a few times first, but it is something I have always wanted to do.
