a 'prolific' writer was just accused of plagiarism, but apparently it's not true!
the circumstance and the use of another 'pen name' other than the one on the 1993 piece led us to believe that they were two different writers.
we most humbly apologize for the accusation and assumption. plagiarism is an issue that we are passionate about and we've had a lot of it around here throughout the years, but this was clearly a case of mistaken identity due to the two different names. the member who posted it is the original writer!

another mistake that i made. i put the author in 'timeout' for a day until we did some 'research' and now i can't seem to undo it.  if i can't get a tech to fix it asap, the member will have to wait until his timeout runs out before reposting his great story. i didn't know it couldn't be undone.

the gentleman has been a real gentleman about this. i think he understands that it was genuinely done in his best interest, as the 'original writer'. and now we know he's posted his works elsewhere under different pen names, but he's the same person.
