Is our Chrissie cake different here? The Australian Christmas cake I had was a lot more elaborate than the usual British Christmas cake. It contained whole nuts, including Brazil nuts, large chunks of glace fruit and dates. There was barely any cake in it at all, indeed if there was any. I don't recall any. It was amazing.

Years ago I was doing some electrical work in a Twinkie factory here, & they said, sure take as many as you want. I filled up the back seat of the car. Bad bad mistake.
