I saw an article on this and found it interesting.
Their formula is number of miles divided by the year of the vehicle.
My truck......
149,500 / 2002 = 74.68
Yikes. Might be time for some geritol with my next fill up.

For the mathematically challenged, click on "All Programs", then "Accessories" and you will find the windows calculator.

My chevy cavalier is 80.5 in people years! She'll have to make it to well over 100 before I'll be able to get a new one!
I have to say, this is the best little car I've ever had. Very few problems with her at all. (knock on wood!!)

My poor PT Cruiser, is 117.
235,000 miles 2002
And yes, while it still runs well, I fear that it is in danger of dying of old age, in the not too distant future.

My little Chevy station wagon is kind of like me.. years, but little use. It's got 180,000 miles but it's a 1991, so it's only about 90.4. (of course, also like me, the chassis is looking a little rough.)

...22.4 and about time for a new one.
...Once the warranty expires, it makes me a bit nervous with performance engines being about $10K to replace. If the factory does not think they will last longer than that, why should I?
...Did anyone notice that Dodge (and maybe all Chrysler products) now has a lifetime warranty on the drive train and for a little more, bumper to bumper? Wondering if that includes their Viper...

My baby girl is 63
Bout what I feel!!
127000/1995
I just can't let my LaSabre baby go tho. Hopefully we can grow very old together. Got her suspension redone couple of years ago, engine purrs like a kitten, and there isn't a new car alive that has her dynoride!! Plus if someone decides to rumble us - I won't be the one with the scratches, bumps, and bruises!! Nope she's a "ful figured" girl but I'm gonna keep her!!!
