watching the reports on TV .. guess it knocked stuff off walls etc.. i know a certain someone who is EVIL and had me thinking he didnt feel it at all even tho he lives only about a mile from me it was a pretty long shaker actually enough time for my oldest to dart out the door into the street before it stopped and it rolled in kinda like a train coming from a distance kinda neat actually ... all the animals were freaking out too

5.0 is strong, but not so strong that it would cause widespread damage...didn't feel a thing here 300 mi north though

Glad you're OK, Becks, you were right on it!
Out here near the beach, we felt a little gentle rolling, no noise or anything off the walls. Kitty jumped in my lap and wanted hugs for a while, so it was pretty nice, considering...
I was going to call it a 3.3, but Katt said it felt like a 4-something.

It is so different that up in the S.F bay area too. Up there you here big bags and very violent jerks. here all you get is the rolling swaying effect. Afterwards it still feels like the building is swaying too. kinda like being on a ship.
