I check the blog tab-if someone I know writes great, I'll go read.
Otherwise, the poems and plagiarism drove me out....

I check the blogs first thing upon logging in to MD. I think a blog reveals much more about a person's personality and character than the snippets offered in the forums.
And a blog war is much like a storm - clears the air!

Sometimes I write them but I always check them. If a title and the first few sentences grab me, I'll read.

both here and the blogs.... we really do have some amazing writers here and sadly some have left  but I think the person who got me reading the blogs was PMF I laughed so hard at the first one I read of his I damn near pissed myself...

I always check the bloggers that I have in my favorites.
Then I go look around to see if anything interests me.
The blogs are fun to read.

The only place I rarely go is chat. I come into the forums, check which of my friends are here, check who's online from my state and hit the blogs. I read those I think sound interesting and occasionally I write one.

I hang out in both.. I used to write more.. but I don't seem to have much time for that lately..
I usually write about what's going on in my life.. the people I meet and sometimes I just need to bitch and whine some.. Blogs are a great way of doing that.. so I don't kill anyone I might come in contact with that pisses me off..
There are favorites I read and comment on.. I leave the politics alone as much as possible..
