I do believe the farther folks are away from Canada, the attitude changes a lot.
Growing up in Detroit, I remember hearing Oh Canada, before every Red Wings game for as long as I can remember.
And as I was joking in the beginning of this thread, if you take Canadian coins out of Michigan, folks look at you like you're using Monopoly money. 
To us, Canada is just further up north than the rest of the state.

I just wanted to say the only good thing that ever came out of Canada was me 
And being a transplanted Quebecer I can also say Vive La Separationne...

I did notice something. Canada gets a lot of movies and shows filmed there. Maybe it's the cheese. And what's up with the CFL? Call it what it is already. Cartoon football.
And I will say this about Canada.
