What kind of pets do you have? Is there any pet that you couldnt have live in your home? What if a guy/girl moved in with you and brought this pet. Would it be ok?

I have a snake. Her name is Rose. She is about 4 ft long and 3 years old. I have had men tell me they could never live with a snake in their house (ok waiting on all the ex jokes now). I said well then you wouldn't be living with me. Her live span is 18 yrs.
I use to have a c***er spainel. I am allergic to cats if they are in my face or if the house isn't vaccumed regularly. I would however live with a cat in my home.

One pit bull named Gracie and three elderly cats, Fuzzy the 20 pounder who hangs out on the roof, Charlie Chaplin (who really is a comedian) and my star hockey player, Patches. Fuzzy's top cat, and Gracie knows her place. All bets are off on that in the spring though, when the cactus wrens are nesting. They chase the dog and the cats into the house. Matter of fact, I'm careful outside then too.

Well, I don't "have" any pets, but I love cats! We have a stray at work, a friend/sponsor has a 25+ lb Main Coon (cat) I recently took a few pics of and my brother has a cool looking Persian/Siamese. Can't walk by one without stopping. But that's when some take off!

well as anyone that reads any of my posts prolly knows (only because i admittedly talk about them so much) i have two kitties (see my profile). Kali (black cat) is a normal cat, Loki - he is pretty much a puppy in cat's clothing and brings definition to the term "cat burgular"!!!
My cats are my priority because i've made a committment to care for them. Anyone that i end up with full-time, would have to be very responsible and hopefully, a cat lover, because i wouldn't want to chance someone accidentally letting my cats out - i'd really prefer someone to be an animal lover like me.
I wouldn't have any problems introducing new "members" into the family if someone i met had animals - and we decided to live together at some point in the future - it would give my cats something to eat when their food bowl gets low.....

At present only two dogs- A shepard-Chow cross with mini Groucho Marx eye brows- these make him very expressive. I also have a Blu-Tic Walker hound. I had a pit bull that was a totally awesome animal. I had a Jackalope once. Strange animal. At the present time, I think that I have enough animals. If the decision of having some one move in and they had animals, we would have already figured out what we would do.

I have one big dog and at one point had five cats but attrition has us down to two. One of whom belonged to my ex who left the cat behind along with almost everything else he owned. But that's another thread.... (Point is the cat always liked me better...haha!)
Besides holding a wildlife rehabilitation permit, I also have a special, separate permit from the state to keep non-releaseable squirrels for educational purposes, so at any given time there can be a couple dozen squirrels and/or other small mammals in residence. Both indoors and in the big pre-release pens out back.
It's rather a requirement, then, that anyone with whom I'm intimately involved at least like animals. If they have their own, it's not a problem. This is, after all, The Peaceable Kingdom.

I have two dogs, three cats, 14 chickens and a guinea pig that looks like donald trump.
I would have no problem if I moved in with a boyfriend and they had animals. I love animals.

I bought my daughter a little rabbit for Christmas. And to be honest, I am really quite surprised that I like it too! lol
If a future partner of mine has pets, then that is no problem at all, a long as I don't end up with 15 cats chewing my socks!!

as a cat lover, i take exception to that remark - that's just so ridiculous - cats do not chew socks.
.......that's odd.......~i don't remember~ stepping in a puddle....

I bought my daughter a little rabbit for Christmas. And to be honest, I am really quite surprised that I like it too!
When I was growing up we had domestic house rabbits and there was a saying, "Once you get into the habit, no home's complete without a rabbit."
They usually make really great companions.
Cottontails, on the other hand...I fondly refer to them as "stinkin' bunnies". They are the poster child for the "wild" in "wildlife". As likely to look at you and lay down and die as anything else. Buggers. Every last one of them. The most emotionally fragile and unpredictable critters I've ever raised. I currently have one out back in a pen overwintering with a black squirrel who unexpectedly lost her foster brother about the time they were ready to go live in an outside pen. This cottontail had three siblings who quite properly, and quite happily, I might add, toddled off to their freedom months ago. I have NO idea why this one literally dug in its heels and refused to leave the carrier, it's not like any cottontail here is handled enough to overcome their dislike of being close to a human. 'Stinkin' bun.

A adopted my chocolate lab "Coco" in 2002 during July 4th weekend. My mother told me "Don't you bring a dog home"....well, we have never had a better dog. She was one year old when I got her. She never jumps up on people (My mother has hip problems) and watches my mother to make sure she's ok.
She's so smart and loves to ride in my SUV during the summer. She knows everyone's name too.
I have a brother who loves her so much I think he'd love to have her for himself.
I love all animals but have a preference for dogs since our family has always had them. Not much on cats or "yip yip" dogs. I think they just have to grow on you...lol

Let's see if we can get some conversation going.
The subject is "pets".
What pets do you have?
Me....I have three dogs. Now I didn't mean to have three dogs. Two was enough, but somehow the third kinda wormed her way into my heart.
I have a mixed bag of dogs..a doxie, a rat terrier, and a boston.
