sometimes i see these commercials and just have to wonder - just wtf these people were thinking
i've seen plenty of advertisements, even for products that i love (video games), and the advertising may be a magazine ad or a commercial - and they're so gross, i want to 
the latest commercial is the series of Hardees commercials. Now this honestly has nothing to do with me being a vegetarian (for example - although i don't care for the product, i love the Jack in the Box commercials - they make me laugh). It's just the idea of watching people eating this disgusting gross big fat burger, shoving it into their mouths, making the most obnoxious, disgusting noises - i don't care if it's a really attractive girl in the commercial - i want to ...
what is with people - ewwww!!!

Sometimes I see a commercial and wonder who approved its content. Did they run it past a sample of the comsumers to see if we would even like it? We had some Quizno commercial that had these grossed out mouse looking things on it trying to sell subs. It was finally taken off

I agree 'sirdidy'....write a letter to them maybe? emphasize your not going to be a customer and that your family, friends, peers and neighbors won't either due to the graphic commerical. That will help put a damper on it.

Yes, some of them are disgusting, especially the face-stuffing ones! But Torees, I kinda liked the Quizno's critters...they were so absurd they were fascinating.

Me either, Torees...every time they came on, I'm like "What is that...?" It became very entertaining, but I don't think I ever ate a sub because of it, lol. I never liked Quizno's anyway; Subway's better.

sir, commercials (on the whole) are just weird anymore because its all oriented around SEX (down, taboo. take a shower, son. dont make me call a cop). 
drive this car cos it'll make u hot; eat this green crap cos it'll make u attractive or wear axe and get raped by two cops who don't look like they know how to spell the word. the crappy gutteral stuff reminds me of how things arent funny anymore but just oafish and bad-mannered.
i try not to watch too much tv, and commercials are definitely out; i mute and go to another room. i do miss nissan commercials; they were too funny (enjoy the ride). the dog riding with his little bow-wows and listening to lowrider is just the best i've ever seen.

I'm not a fan of commercials, food ones expectually. I don't eat fast food, but I seriously doubt any of the products they show actually look that good at the places. Yuck

One part of me agrees that MOST of what appears on TV is aimed only at the great, purely ignorant masses. Most of TV advertising says only... "There are a LOT of MORONS sucking down our crap -- join the CLUB, ... NOW!!"
Some folks want to see the 'video game' world as being different.
Is it..?

I rarely watch tv but like Quizno's newer commercials with the talking baby. What a hoot!
Of course, the Geico squirrels doing their victory hand-jive was a fav.
Otherwise, it's all a disgusting ploy to get you to part with your money based solely on egotism. Yuk. Even worse are all the drug commercials - "disease of the week"...yeesh!

Those Quiznos critters with the bulging eyes irritatingly shrill voices and eerie mouths were called "Sponge Monkeys.
Dislike them you may however they made some nerds rich.

when u bring in a coupon....
I HATED that commercial! I mean seriously all I could think of with those nasty lookin mice singin was quizno's subs = rat meat!
It played here for awhile and unfortunatlly that jingle has stuck in my head. But it sure doesnt make me wanna go out an get a quizno's sub!

quizno's subs = rat meat
maybe it has a lower fat content. btw, this is from the same country were people have pixs of mice in dresses and carrying umbrellas while there's a box of d-con under the sink.

Maybe I'm fortunate, sirdidy, most commercials I see go in one ear and out the other. I'd be hard-pressed to actually remember details, but it seems the beer and Geico commercials are the most inventive and funny.
