Let's help out the mods with their bandwidth.
Does anybody really care who viewed them? I just figure for
me, women have this inborn desire to shop, even if they do
not plan on buying anything. So looking at the men profiles
is their way of shopping without buying, unless one looks like
a good bargain. I can be had cheaply!!!!
The men just like to look at cute women and dream of having
one of them for life, or for at least a half an hour (some for
5 minutes from what I hear  ).
I just feel it is a site feature of no merit. Maybe somebody
wiser than me can show me the light.

I think the feature is a good one.....can save time in filtering and searching....if I see someone I might be interested in I'll write them. I think sometimes people just view to view, and than others view, want to write, but might be too shy to do it.
So, I may take the initiative first. Depends.

I've looked at it, just to see what's up. I think it should be taken up a notch though, and it should show how many times each person viewed you. I don't believe it does show that.
I believe a lot of the views I get are in response to some of my posts here.

Lot's of times I accidently click on the profile when I check e-mails. You get lots of views from me that way.

I get just about all of my views from posting on the boards or writing a blog... because there's so few people here from the UK it is rare I will get viewed from someone doing a search.

Am I the only one who gets a little weirded out by it at times? You know how it is...sometimes you want to check someone out without their knowing you're checking them out 
But I agree with you guys...it's good to support MD in this little way, so I go ahead and look anyway, most of the time!

I'm always curious to see who's been around, but I don't think it means anything - they're just curious too. Especially forum posters - I think we often look at each other's profiles just to refresh our memories before we respond to posts. I see the whole range of ages, locations and genders out there, but mostly I think they're sort of reading the authors' bios when they check out regular posters' profiles.

I'm nosey so I visit lots of people's profile, I just like to read about people, most of the time I check the profiles of people who post on the forums so I can learn a bit more about them.
