FAYETTEVILLE, Ind. -- Severe thunderstorms packing extreme winds rolled across portions of southern and northern Indiana Sunday, dropping at least two tornadoes and possibly more.

Dozens of homes were damaged or destroyed in Lawrence, Daviess, Knox and Martin counties. The National Weather Service confirmed that an EF-3 tornado packing winds of up to 120 mph went through part of Lawrence County, causing the bulk of the damage there.
And so it begins...

Posts: 1,473 I just hope it's not a repeat of last years flooding.... I live less than a 1/2 mile from the Maquoketa River and driving to town this morning at 8:30.... it was way out of its banks
I can only guess that the dams up near Delhi were opened to alleviate the chance of flooding up there

Oh me too! Although I no longer live in the midwest, I wouldn't wish what happened to me last year on anyone.

Here's to a safe spring with just the RIGHT amount of rainfall.

Posts: 22,629 Well, Northwest Ohio is flooding pretty bad. Soem of the towns were hot hard last year too.
