Maybe like a party where everyone brings a dish to share? So that way none has to do all the cooking and people get to try all different sorts of food. That would be my guess.

We have them all the time where I work. We call them Pot Lucks. Sometimes its for a specific celebration. We having one this Friday for one of our managers. Will be lots of good recipes to share.

I think both of our girls are correct. It is a potluck, and each person is required to bring a dish.

I think potlucks are fun, its like recipe sharing but with samples lol.

Yep, except at our office potlucks we bring the recipes too. Partly to share the recipe, partly so anyone with food allergies can have advance warning.

A food party is where friends get together to share different foods. They are getting to be the thing to do. They even have clubs for this now. Yes, I watch the food channel!!!!
