I have to tell y'all...ttomtarr is one awesome writer from blogland...and a kind, fun gentleman, as well!
I have to post here in regards to some stuff I've seen posted in this thread...and I've seen it often from people in blogs, as well...................
NOPE, I just changed my mind...I'd rather blog about it.

I remember....(Is that Barbara singing in the background? memories.....  )
We used to have a great time on the weekends a couple years back...started new threads to just go in and have a beer and a laugh or two...and of course I spent many nights in the elevator thread...and blues Harem.....we had big laughs....oh yes we did!!

The time when the ladies were up for auction for a hockey team. Actually, I bought those ladies at the "auction", then I made a hockey team out of them.

It's too bad this site is having a slow down....I think Facebook is nothing compared to this one.
But without more folks, which translates to more interaction, this site is getting.....well...it's just too bad I guess.
Strange too.....because it would seem there would be an endless supply of new folks, as some of the older members faded away.
But it seems lately that there are not nearly as many actually participating in blogland....I don't know much about the forums...I was not much of a forum guy.
Anyway...in my opinion, Facebook is ok, good for finding old friends I suppose, but the instant interaction this site used to have was something very special. I will miss it.
I say that, because I do not think it will make a comeback.....I hope it does, but somehow, there is something going on that is killing it.
I don't think it has anything to do with folks getting along either, because back in the "good old days" much of that was what made this place so stimulating.
Of course, there were impolite disrespectful people then....but they are everywhere. So I don't think that has to do with anything going on here now.
I think it very well could have been the "one comment per blog" rule...it took a lot of interaction away from everyone.
But what do I know.
I just know that Skydog better make sure he returns the brass dance pole to the clubhouse before he leaves.......

Thats the funny thing about the "good ole days", you never know when you are in them until they are gone.
Single St Louis Dad was the funniest thing to ever hit these forums. Its been downhill ever since.
Me, I dont feel as inspired anymore. Maybe Ive reached the point where Ive typed everything there is to type. Well, about pooping anyway.

I'm pretty much done here...I'm tired of the bullshit. I'm tired of knowing that my friends are being made fun of elsewhere. I'm tired of people that don't like me, and that I don't like, reading my blogs...knowing my intimate thoughts. Those days are over for me.
I will be around to read blogs. I might check email. But I won't be posting anymore....most of my blogs are gone as of earlier today. I've been on this site for nearly 8 years...I won't just *POOF* and be gone......
I just wont be talking much.
to my friends...I will miss you
 to those that helped make this decision for me. You know who you are.

i agree- i know you don't consider me to be one of your friends, but its for darn sure I am not one of the bad guys!!!!! i have found my own little diversion from the forums- i go into the different states and play there- Good way to meet new people-IMHO
