Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers
Pros: It is fun tongue twister
Cons: It is not very fun to repeatedly chant while you try to pat your head and rub your tummy at the same time.

Not about Scrubbing Bubbles toilet Gel, but about Scrubbing Bubbles regular product; great on floor tile grout. The person who put in my tile floor didn't seal the grout, so over the years it has become grey and grimey looking despite repeated cleanings with commercial grout cleaners. Some one recommended spraying on the Scrubbing Bubbles and letting sit for 10-20 minutes and then wiping off. It's wonderful. I had truely considered having to dremmel out the grout and regrouting to get it to even come close to clean again. It's all nice and white at $3.50 a can versus, well, just about any option. I'm pleased...then again, I'm easily entertained.

The best cleaning product out there - the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - I prefer the orginal
Works wonders on shower doors & walls (I have hard, well water), it takes Saint Bernard slobber off the walls and doesn't take paint with it (even flat painted ones), cleans just about everything!
My favorite thing it does though - I use it on my tennis shoes - makes the the soles look like you just took them out of the box!

Milk I have a white ceramic kitchen sink (one more reason I should have never listened to the ex) But, when the expiration date hits....milk goes down my sink, all sides. It makes the sink white again! For free!

Works wonders on shower doors & walls Don't do this on replacement units. It's too harsh.
Have also heard that some polish the shower walls with car wax and buff, to keep the water running off easily, and scratches from showing.

Pam - I have never had a problem with it scratching but I don't let it get out of hand either
As for the car wax, my ex tried that once - it did a very nice job with one little problem - makes the bottom of the shower/tub very slippery - just be sure to have a mat or something so one doesn't fall

If you stay on top of it you can avoid chemicals entirely, even with big glass shower enclosures like mine - the microfiber cloths, and all you need is water. Same with windows - and wipe in the same direction on each side - vertically for inside, horizontally outside, so if you have a streak you know where it is.
Another tip - don't EVER wash them with anything else...it ruins them. If you can accumulate a bunch and just wash a load of them at a time they stay as good as new - I've had most of mine for nearly five years now.

I'm sure it has it's uses, but the next time you watch the commercial. ------------- right when he says, " lets do this in real time " you can see cola flowing out from under the carpet, but once he gives his line about real time, the carpet has been switched with no cola showing. So, if you watch the ad itself, there must be something wrong if they have to edit and to make you believe it works.
I love this type of product for my boat as well. Very absorbent. Works great to dry off wet seats, especially after a big rain the night before.
But from what I have heard, it does not live up to all the hype it claims on tv.
DOUGLAS, MI (WZZM) -- After seeing the whacky spokesperson pitching the many wonders of the Sham Wow, I had to see if the orange clothes were really as absorbent as the commercial claims.
I took Sham Wow to EduCare childcare center in Douglas where spills and messes are a daily occurrence.
We found Sham Wow to be super absorbent compared to paper towels. It did soak up a lot of the punch we spilled on the carpet, although it was still wet on the carpet backing. Seems like a good thing to have around for spills and drying up messes.
What Sham Wow did not work for was replacing a chamois (shammy, for those of us who don't know the spelling). We tried it on the side of a wet boat and no matter how many times we rung it out, the Sham Wow left water streaks all over. The chamois we compared it to wiped the boat dry. The Sham Wow never completely dried the side of the boat.
It also did not work well on windows. It left the same streaky mess, never drying the window completely.
Sham Wows sells for $19.95 online and a number of places. I've seen a booth set up at the mall in Grandville. It's a good towel, but I wouldn't get rid of your chamois .
From his link.

I'm, thinking of trying one of these. The upside down tomato planter. I live in the woods, and the spot with the most sun is over my septic tank. I'm still considering a raised bed. But until then, this looks promising.
WALKER (WZZM 13)-- We started our Topsy Turvy upside-down tomato planter and our Roll 'n Grow flower bed just before Memorial Day. We assumed we'd have tomatoes and flowers sometime by the end of July.
Rick Vuyst, of WZZM 13 Greenthumb fame, helped me with the planting and advice and returned to see our handy-work.
He was really impressed with the Topsy Turvy. I had two green, but large tomatoes (a few days after our meeting they turned red). Plus I had tons of flowers ready for new tomatoes. The plant looked very healthy and it was so easy to tend to. There was no staking, no weeding, and it was easy to water. Our tomatoes seemed to thrive in the Topsy Turvy. Rick recommends it.
Our Roll 'n Grow on the other hand, wasn't as successful. To me, it looked like a bunch of weeds with very few blooms and not much color at all. Rick was able to name off a few of the wild flowers, but none of it looked that appealing. Plus, you could still see patches of the Roll 'n Grow fabric.
I wanted another opinion to see if maybe I just had bad luck. I visited Allie May Meyer in Zeeland who used both the Topsy Turvy and Roll 'n Grow.
Just like me, she had great luck with the Topsy Turvy. She had three red tomatoes ready for pickin'.
Her Roll 'n Grow on the other hand wasn't too impressive. She had put it in a planter box and all she got were a couple of straggly white flowers that certainly weren't the beautiful blooms she was hoping for. She ended up planting begonias over top of the Roll 'n Grow in hopes of getting some much needed color.
Allie May, Rick and I were tickled with the Topsy Turvy, but the Roll 'n Grow didn't live up to what the commercial seemed to promise. If you like a more un-kept, natural, wild flower look, Roll 'n Grow might be something you're interested in.
We ordered the Topsy Turvy online, but you can also buy it locally at Flowerland for $19.95. Check it out at a number of websites including www.hangingtomato.com. The Roll 'n Grow was purchased online for $19.95 plus $7.95 shipping and handling at www.rollngrow.com.
