The answers must be true, but nothing horrific. Ok, Ive calmed down in my old age, but growing up I was quite a handful which probably explains my trips to the woodshed. lol.( 1.) When I was 8, I gave away my baby brother. Id put up with him for 3 months. He was noisy & frequently smelled bad. So one day I traded him to my best friend for her new doll. Imagine the reaction when arriving home instead of an infant boy, a doll was found in the bassinette. Quite a shock for my friend's mom as well. No problem though because she didnt like my baby brother either, and gave him back. Funny thing is, just a short while later I was his faithful defender/protector, and was taking him everywhere or at least trying to.

My brother was terribly afraid of locust and they were abundent in Nevada where we grew up.

One day I out one down his back. He started dancing and screaming. Our dad asked me what was wrong.

"Oh, a locust flew down his back".

He was crying too hard to tell on me.

...About 10 years old, I had built a fort and Eddie, my city cousin and family came by after church for a family visit. All dressed up, his Mom told him to stay clean, which we tried to do in the fort, but he had to go pee and I told him that he was in the country... just go around the back of the fort and go.

...It was not 30 seconds and there was a loud, agonizing scream that would not stop, I looked and he was laying flat on his back, still peeing in the air that was coming back down on himself and here come the adults... he had peed on the electric fence and for sure, since I was laughing so hard I could not answer "what was the matter," I was to blame.

My younger sister had pretty bad buck teeth. She was too young for braces, and
all her baby teeth hadn't yet come out.
She never reached in her lunch bag and took the items out. She tipped it over from the bottom.
Remembering this, I put a very large milkbone in the bag, and when she dumped it out on the table, ......

I still feel bad about it. It was a shtty thing to do.

( 2 ) My grandparents and I were going on a fishing trip. I was riding alone in the camper part that my grandfather had built for his truck. It was a longgggggggg drive, and I was bored. Thats always dangerous for me. Being bored I mean. I was probably around 10. Anyway- I made a sign that I was being kidnapped & held it to the back window of the camper. It was misspelled but still understood as I quickly found out. A highway patrolman pulled us over, & made my 60 or so year old grandparents stand up against his car. When the cop understood that it was a childish prank, he told me that he would arrest me but he was sure that much worse waited for me at home. Knowing he was right, I asked to be put in jail. No such luck.

I gave my brother a black eye...I was peacefully reading a book when he grabbed it and ripped some pages out...I ran after him and belted him. He never ripped up one of my books again...

Somehow nobody questioned the black eye...of course being the little demon he'd always been, it wasn't all that unusual for him...amazing that he turned into a really good guy.

Okay Brenda...

Once I smacked my bro while he had a brace face open, and got chucks of my hand stuck into his teeth!

When I was 19, I got tanked and puked in my bro's face while he was trying to get me to bed!

I'm very ashamed of most of myl ife between 7 and 31.

Brenda, the kidnapped child was too funny!

Fortunately for my parents but unfortunately for this thread, I was a very shy and retiring child. (Most people find that hard to believe. )

My brother and my sister made up for what I didn't do.

I was six when my sister was born, and when she was an infant, my parents used to put her in a car seat next to me that faced me...not them. I would pinch and pinch her until she cried.

I did a lot of cruel things to her, though.

LipGlossQueen9-Well hun, you were only 6. ( 3 ) After I liked my baby brother (lol), and wanted to give him anything he wanted, I was asked to watch him one day for 3 or 4 hours. It was a family emergency & there was no time to find a babysitter for us. I was shown where the baby bottles were, & told to give him one if he cried. Well, he cried alot ( I think now he was teething), so I just kept giving him more & more bottles. Being a baby, I know my brother wasnt real swift, but even my chickens, rabbit, horse & dog know when they are full. Sheesh! For some reason he didn't. End result- My grandparents came home to find that he had pretty much exploded all over that pretty white crib in every way he possibly could. Ewwwwwwwwww! Heaveninawildflower- I whupped all my boy cousins at least once so I cant say anything about your post.

This is a tough one Brenda to come up with the worst thing done to a family member when I grew up with 5 brothers on a farm.

I'll just do it by family member
From oldest to youngest...
Dad-He was the president of the school board...nuff said.
Mom-Various diabolical alterings of my report card from school.

Jim-Drove his brand new 68 Grand Prix 130 mph behind his back when I was 13.

Randy-While having to serve military duty he sold me his prized possession rather cheaply with my promise to take good care of it.
I wasnt legal driving age yet so I loaned it to my brother Dan.
Yea, he parked that 69 blue Nova SS 396 in Lake Koshkonong the same night I loaned it to him.Randy wasnt very happy and neither was I.
Dad made him take ownership of that drowned Nova and made him give me his 66 Coronet.

Dan-Still pissed after losing my Nova and knowing Pa liked to check his kids cars now and then while on his way out for the morning milking,I layed a couple cans of Old Milwaukee on his back seat.

Dave-The nickname I gave him stuck around for quite awhile until he had his teeth fixed up from sucking his thumb.
He did like being called "Beaver" though when the alternative was "Bonnie",the fat neighbor gal in his class we rode bus with.

Steve-Just a few years ago at his house his wife told him if he was still hungry and since Jon didnt finish all his chicken,he might as well finish it for me.
He did have a small question first.
Did you spit on it?
When we were hungry kids there was alot of thievery going on at the supper table.
To prevent loss of tater tots and such,I would spit on my own food first so nobody would steal it.
Liver was a different matter.I would secretly remove my liver from the plate and place it on top of my foot.Depending on which brother deserved a reckoning from me the most would determine which one had that liver deposited on the floor next to there chair.
If mom saw any chucked food on the floor...somebody either had to disobey the 3 second rule and finish that chow or wash and dry all the dishes.

Jankia- ( 4 ) This wasnt done to a family member, but Im including it to show you no one was spared-lol. In the 6th or 7th grade I had a female science teacher that was cruel to some of the children. In front of the class she would call them dumb/slow, or possibly say something negative about their clothing. Ive always seemed to champion the underdog & this teacher made me grind my teeth. Towards the end of a semester she was handing back all of our papers, exams, etc. I asked if we needed to keep them to study for the final exam. She answered- "I dont care if you burn them!" Then she got a call & left the room. I quickly gathered up everyones papers to their utter delight, took them up to the steel sinks & lit them. She returned to a pretty decent (but safe) fire. Screamed, threw up her hands & ran from the room. The woman never did return, and we then got a new science instructor. He was great! I did have to go to the office though & got 6 or 7 licks across my backside with the board for my actions. Oh well- No pain, no gain!!

With two younger brothers & a younger sister, I had many opportunities to ... um ... Be The Oldest.

I accidentally broke the leg off my new Christmas present baby doll when I was 5 & blamed my 3 yr old brother.... That still kind of bothers me.

Arguing about something forgettable, I threw a spoon across the table at same brother & he has a scar just under his left eye in memory of my 12 yr old temper.

The worst thing may have been when Mom was relocating us from New Jersey to California, driving across country when I was 15. After stopping for a gas & potty break, we reloaded & headed back onto Route 66. I turned to see my 13 year old brother alone in the backseat ... and we waited a few minutes before mentioning to Mom that the 8 year old was left at the gas station ...
