Beautiful Women
A Woman's Look in the Mirror (we should all learn from this little story)
Age 3: Looks at herself and sees a Queen!
Age 8: Looks at herself and sees herself as Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty.
Age 15: Looks at herself and sees herself as Cinderella/Sleeping
Beauty/Cheerleader, Fat/Pimples/UGLY ("Mom, I can't go to school looking
like this!").
Age 20: Looks at herself and sees "too fat/too thin, too short/too tall,
too straight/too curly" -- but decides she's going anyway.
Age 30: Looks at herself and sees "too fat/too thin, too short/too tall,
too straight/too curly" -- but decides she doesn't have time to fix it so
she's going anyway.
Age 40: Looks at herself and sees "too fat/too thin, too short/too tall,
too straight/too curly" -- but says, "At least I'm clean" and goes anyway.
Age 50: Looks at herself and sees "I am" and goes wherever she wants to
go.
Age 60: Looks at herself and reminds herself of all the people who can't
even see themselves in the mirror anymore. Goes out and conquers the
world.
Age 70: Looks at herself & sees wisdom, laughter and ability, goes out
and enjoys life.
Age 80: Doesn't bother to look. Just puts on a purple hat and goes out
to have fun with the world.
* *WE SHOULD ALL GRAB THAT PURPLE HAT A LITTLE EARLIER!!

here's to YOU! To an exceptionally beautiful woman!
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that
she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen within her eyes, because that is the
doorway to her heart, the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole. But true beauty in a
woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years
only grows!

Oh wow, you really forgot about us who grew up as tomboys. According to your chart, I have been 80 all my life. LOL And yes, I do have a purple hat, boots, leather, skirts, purse...

Believe me ladys,,,,getting older is wonderful. I love my 40's!!!!!!! And I am going to enjoy the rest of my life as well. Although,,no red or (yuk) purple hats for me!

Maybe all us artists are just nuts anyway, but...
when my mother died, I found that she had not only put feminist jokes in the same packet as her Will, she also had that poem that said, "when I am old I will wear purple hats and say outrageous things". I figured, why wait?

Although I am aware of my outer beauty, I am much more in tune with my inner beauty...i am in constant communication with my heart and Soul...I know who and what I am..LOVE
As I age I am often taken back by the fact that I feel younger with each passing day...young at heart, and in mind, body, spirit
so, here's to aging

Thanks for posting that...I'm 61 going on 16, and while ya gotta get old, you don't ever gotta grow up! I flew Top Gun against my son not long ago (beat the little son of a Top Gun too). Now don't tell...but getting old is NOT what most of us expected...at least I didn't. It's been a hell of a pleasant surprise! Gals (and guys too, you know we love you), you rock!!!

i dont see why you gotta be old to think like that, im 21 and my mom raised me to always be happy with my self in looks and everyway, and I am. People forget that not all young women want to change them selves, and not all older women are perfectly content either.
