Today is Fathers Day.
If being a father were the only thing that ever went right for me in life,that would be good enough for me.

We are healthy, my sons and their family's are healthy.

Oh my! 
My kids are both healthy and happy. (ok they are broke but aren't we all?)
My grandson.
My awesome new hubby, that I have fun with everyday. 
My new family.
Our boat is almost ready for the water again, so we can go FISHIN'  
My loving pets... even if they are demanding at times.
My wonderful friends here.

Stressed and lonely and wondering if 12 hour work days are going to be my lot in life?
Nah.... what's right with my life are my wonderful parents and my loving cats. If not for them I am not sure what I would do.

Hiya gal, haven't seen you around in awhile! 
Stressed and lonely and wondering if 12 hour work days are going to be my lot in life?
Been there, done that, and yes there is life after work. Weekends with my SO are sacrosanct these days, I'll be available for phone consultation if absolutely necessary but I will not be logging on. We have to choose our priorities. I'm glad I did it when I did it, and gladder yet that I stopped the workaholism when I did. When it's time for you to change horses, you'll know it!

Finally got to the bottom of my poor choices and funny but other people I normally would be attracted to...are no longer attractive! I love myself and my excess unwanted fatty tissues are melting away. I barely have to do anything and it just goes.

First and foremost.. I AM living and a breast cancer survivor
I have a wonderful husband that supports, loves and takes care of me as well as giving me a nudge when I need it.
My children, grandchildren and siblings are all healthy and happy.
Our garden is growing fast and will provide us with fresh veggies,...which is better for my health. I am trying to eat smarter and better these days. 
There are a few things wrong with my life but the right with my life far outweighs the wrong....I am a work in progress... always!
My friends here on MD...they are definitely right with my life

There are a few things wrong with my life but the right with my life far outweighs the wrong....I am a work in progress... always!
I like this, Snappy. But anyone that knows me will know for me, I have to tweak it a bit so I will say...
There are a few things I am not quite satisfied with in my life but in general the good far outweighs the negative. And yes, I am a work in progress. And the man I eventually will find that suits me is also a work in progress and KNOWS it. He is the one that gets up every day (like me) looking for ways to improve his/our (my/our) life.
