Fashion flub????? These days it's a fashion statement.
C'mon, I'm from the prehistoric era (heck it was no white shoes before Memorial day or after Labor day, white gloves and a hat at church or tea parties - and yes, I attended formal tea parties) so of course it bothers me. I won't even wear a dark bra under a white blouse, I'd consider it tacky.
That said though, it's a different world, and it's not even considered slightly wrong wearing a tube top with a non-strapless bra... 
Life goes on, and while it would bother me to wear any of the above (with the exception of braless, unless it's a Maxine type bra aka a loose sweatshirt) I've gotten too used to seeing it to really worry about it on others.
What's your take on it? At your age you should have pretty much grown up with it.

Nope, my parents raised me to be pretty much like you, Heaven. Minus the tea parties. I still have issues letting my bra straps show. Although, I never did learn how to get rid of that damned panty line.

Oh! That's tacky and it just makes me cringe.
Although since I do have a big butt, it's almost become impossible to not flash it when I decide to don a thong. I've taken to putting on body glue in order to keep the damn thing in place.

and the whale tails?? I know I posted somewhere in the forums what I did to my daughters friend when as she exited my Jimmy repeatedly showing one off... first a warning then *yank*  yeah never saw one again from her and when her male friend kept wearing his pants below his butt yeppers embarrassment city its called UNDERwear for a reason  its supposed to be worn under your clothes

 I was sitting in my car eating lunch when this happened.

I hate it all...your thong showing is just classless...No one needs to see your bra straps and panty lines...Well, some people should pay attention to what type of underwear they are buying and what sort of clothes they will be wearing over them.
Edited to add:
I will go braless under certain shirts...However, If I had overly large breasts, or saggy ones I wouldn't.

I prefer wearing a padded bras as undies so it looks like I have more junk in the trunk. Sometimes, I use water bras so my booty will jiggle more when I shake it. 
Also, I let my bra straps hang out so I can have mega tan lines, I hear there hot these days. They blend well with my farmers tan.
The only thing I don't prefer in a daily basis is a piece of cloth up my ass. Boy shorts are better.

I too am not fond of thongs. If I wanted something up my butt I would kindly as for it. I too wear those boy cut cheekies. They have that extra room needed for my junk to having breathing room.
