I have one of those furniture dusters that's fluffy(NOT a feather duster) that's made out of some kinda of synthetic material. It has a long slender handle, and is purple. Can you clean these types of dusters by running them under some water, or will that ruin it?

I have done it before and then just let it dry .. then recharged it by going over the tv screen with it while its on.. they work by the static charge that is created by the nylon material brushing against itself

That was PRECISELY what I was concerned about... losing the static charge! So, if I run it over the TV screen once it's dry, that will - as you put it - recharge it? Great! Thanks!!!!!

Becky....does the TV screen have to be free of dust before wiping the duster against it, or does it matter?

...DAMN! How pathetic is THIS!! MOST guys have DATES on Friday nights. ME? I'm sitting at home, eating a couple of Whopper Juniors, and posting questions about CLEANING A DAMNED DUSTER!!!!
