Today I got 4 different emails from gals, all with no pictures, from the US, who said that they wanted to get to know me and were online waiting. They all left their email addresses in the letters and wanted to chat on Yahoo. Not a single one was online all day. What is the deal? What are they trying to do?

I dunno, but I keep getting karenburts...... yesterday it was karenburts16 & karenburts17 today I'm getting karenburts25.
I think that there is a cloning machine somewhere nearby.

What are they trying to do?
they're either trying to collect as many valid email addresses as possible so they can sell them to wholesale spammers (those unsolicited 'ads' and appeals you get in your personal email box). or a lot of them are asking you to 'chat' on im where they turn you over to a the next operator in line (might be a guy!) where they get all lovey dovey then try to convince you to check out their (pay-to-view) porn site.
some guys are even dumb enough to send their phone numbers, home addresses or real names! 
please report every single one of them as soon as they appear in your mailbox. we work hard to eliminate them before they can even mail, but can't always tell if they are fakes unless people report them. we make it easy to report them with a clic of a link. we suggest you do that then completely ignore them, either blocking them or sending their (reported) mail to your trash.
also, you may want to put filter on your mail (go to 'my account' to see how to do this). the trouble is that many are using american or canadian addresses and isp'. there's no instant way to sort those kind out from our regular normal members.
i need to set an alarm clock to head off karentburts and her half dozen other spamming friends. they post new profiles every 24 hours. they may be part of one of those pinay 'rings'.

Yes I have gotten karen burts too and I just got an email at yahoo from
{email address removed} Wtih a link to a camgirl site. What a matchup!(

check your mailbox now. i'll bet a bunch of them show up as banned. 
there were 2 'nests' of them plus our usual influx west africans trying to sell things.  *poof* dozens gone!

did i get 'em all? 
lol, what i do is hit or miss, really. i don't handle the regular incomig spam reports. i do run thru the new members lists when i get a chance. that helps the regular office staff when they're doing their daily thing.

appreciate your efforts to remove the scammer's... I keep reporting them too...but it seems like 99% of my emails are from guy's...no pictures..and want me to write them at their personal email & add them to messenger...get's pretty discouraging after a while...
