If you could create the ideal cross-country road trip where would you go?

What are some of the hot spots or cool places you would visit?
What highways would you take? What small towns or large cities would you stop at?
Would your trip include stopping at historical places of interest, places with unique geological features, places known for their interesting people and places known for their entertainment values?
How about places that might interest you because something new and awe inspiring is happening there?
Your job is to plan a trip with your version of the best places to see and the reasons you think other people traveling with you would like to see and visit these people and places.
Examples: NASA space center, Disneyworld, Yellowstone, Las Vegas, Route 66, Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, Niagara Falls, Gettysburg, Universal Studios, The Grand Canyon, New York city, etc.....
You are in charge and you are the tour guide so create the "ideal" road trip and explain where you would start, the stops along the trip, and why you have chosen those places.
You are doing it for yourself and also to try and impress us.

california first stop moreno valley and sissys house...... grab her and mac and head to Katts house, then to nevada and sunny's and solis places.. then draggin mac and sissy to las vegas.. ( might talk them into stopping to see elvis) drop them back off at home xoxoxoxo and then head to Lors house and then maybe to PA to go see Luvshorses and who knows from there.. road trip anyone........Sweet N L

If i could do ANY roadtrip....it would be an epica starting in Vladivostok....going all the way to Portugal! gosh, the things you would see doing that....not to mention the insane amount of money it would cost!
