I say hell no!!!! He wants to call a truce for now so the rebuilding of Iraq and Afganistan can continue!!!!! Even though
he is admitting that attacks on U.S soil are in the making for the future!!! We need to keep hounding his butt and anyone
loyal to him and his senseless terrorist regime. We're
supposed to lay off of him so he can go about planning
attacks on U.S. soil without being chased like the coward
he is!! I myself am a veteran of the Desert Storm Gulf War.
I served with the 12TH Engineer Battalion out of the
8TH Infantry Division and was attached to the 3RD Armored
Division. We liberated the country of Kuwait and as far as I'm
concerned we should have taken care of Osama Bin Laden
and Saddam Hussein back then. WE need to support our
troops in Iraq and let them finish the job they are doing there.
God bless our brave young soldiers fighting overseas.......

I agree Osama should have gone down looooong ago when we had a chance.
Not sure exactly WHAT the mission IS in Iraq or how we will know WHEN it is accomplished there. I don't imagine us EVER getting OUT of that country.
I fully agree we need to support our troops.

Our mission in Iraq started out as stopping Sadam Hussein
from collecting and using weapons of mass destruction.
George Bush did drop the ball on that call because he believed the information that our Government and the CIA had
collected on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. However ,
Sadam Hussein and Iraq had to be dealt with sooner or later
and I'm just sorry that we did'nt take care of him and Osama
back during the Gulf war. As a matter of fact , any country
that knowingly harbors terrorists that have planned or are
planning attacks on our country should be dealt with now
including Iran. And believe me , Iran will be next. I proudly
serverd my country during the Desert Storm Gulf War and I
believed in what I was doing over there even if it meant that I
might sacrifice my own life because I knew that communist
and terrorist aggression had to be stopped.

Don’t you guys think its rather ironic that a nomadic Bedouin is in a position to offer a truce to you = the most powerful force on the face of the earth? And yet that’s the way it is.
I don’t know if this is just urban myth or not, but there is a story going around about how ‘he’ was holed up in a cave with every conceivable technology watching and tracking him. So what did he do to escape? He waited until it was dark and fogy and rode away on a horse. A bloody horse for god sake!
I’m not bashing you yanks hear! I’m just scratching my head wondering WTF is going on, and remembering how a bunch of ‘paddy’s’ took on the might of the British establishment, and won!
