anutosh i define genius to be the ability to do something no one else can do There's quite a few things nobody can do for various reasons ( mostly because no one cares to do them ... ) , it hardly means that it takes a genius to actually do those things. You can devote your whole life to bodybuilding so you can hold the weight no one else can. Do you really believe it would make you a genius?... Or one can possibly inherit the greatest fortune in the world . Nobody else can do the same , it sure makes the person lucky but hardly makes him genius. Or you can destroy some unique structure or art masterpiece. Since it was unique, nobody else can possibly repeat the deed, still it doesn't take genius to do that. Or you can simply break some behavioral taby and , let's say , defecate in public. I guarantee nobody else would care to do that. That's probably the easiest way to feel like "genius" (according to your defintion , of course... )
clickityclack .. I was previously used .. on this site We all feel for you, sweetie, but didn't your doctor recommend that they don't let you out of your nursing home? If you have grievances regarding how you have been mistreated on this site, contact the Mod....

Not fair, NL--leaving words out of a quote to change it to how you want it to read. Shame on you!

I'm glad you added the new word to your vocabulary, clackie, considering your condition that's quite an achievement .. Now you can go back to your ward and celebrate... After all , instead of complaining , maybe you should thank sign , seems like been molested by a teacher wasn't as bad experience as you think it was; you have definitely improved your learning abilities...
anutosh the meaning of the word is ussually restricted cto intellectual and artistic achievement .. My point is - you won't believe what sometimes passes for "intellectual and artistic achievement" ...

NL...sorry, but its all of us here at Md who have been molested by your myopic mediocrity...it seems all your comments in every single thread you post in, each have sexually frustrated overtones to them...wouldn't you agree?

Sign-you are very astute. And honest. Anyone can LOOK smart by copy pasting with no reference, to look like they know everything. Even changing a few words in the posting doesn't fool Google. People should really try it sometime-see who the fakes are. (well, some of them-some are spotted with no copy paste) Clack is one of the smartest people I know. Honestly.
If one doesn't know how to relax and have some fun, they are no genius, in my book. They just have a stick up their butt, and it's no divining rod.
I got this thread to be in fun, so Dill...
What is mediocre, and genius about grass
Para is no closer to Dios than half the people here. He is also fooling himself.

THE MEDIOCRE MIND NEVER ALLOWS THE GENIUS- many kinds of geniuses living like beggars for the simple reason that they did not accept the mediocre way of life.
Remember the greatest, Dutch painter: Vincent van Gogh. He could not sell a single painting in his whole life.
His trees are painted so high that they go above the stars; stars are left far behind. Now, you will think that this man is mad... trees going up higher than the stars? Have you seen such trees anywhere? When Vincent van Gogh was asked, "Your trees always go beyond the stars...?" he said, "Yes, because I understand trees. I have felt always that trees are the ambition of the earth to reach the stars. Otherwise why? To touch the stars, to feel the stars, to go beyond the stars -- this is the desire of the earth. The earth tries hard, but cannot fulfill the desire. I can do it. The earth will understand my paintings, and I don't care about you, whether you understand or not."

There's the fine line between genius and madness. Vision, and how others see it.
