Would any one like to say a few last words on its behalf before I drop it in to the bin?
It was a Good mouse. A fine and Courageous mouse, which would guide me, threw even the murkiest off web sites, without so much of a flick of its amazing three-foot long tale!
And so as I gently lower it into the blue bin by the sink! To the strains of the pogues singing the ‘Irish rover’ May I ask for your last words of respect?
*The pogues singing*
*On the forth of July eighteen hundred and six, we set sale from the sweet port of cork, we ware sailing away with a cargo off bricks, for the grand city hall in new York etc etc etc *

There were no mice in the hold of the Irish Rover.
Why? because they did not want to spare the water to clean their balls.
Remember: Mice with clean balls are happy mice and last longer.

don't give up one little fellow so quickly now...he might just need a new ball... read the following :
" If a mouse fails to operate or should it perform erratically, it may need a ball replacement.
Because of the delicate nature of this procedure, replacement of mouse balls should only be attempted by properly trained personnel. Before proceeding, determine the type of mouse balls by examining the underside of the mouse.
Domestic balls will be larger and harder than foreign balls.
Ball removal procedures differ depending upon the type of mouse. Foreign balls can be replaced using the pop off method.
Domestic balls are replaced by using the twist off method.
Mouse balls are not usually static sensitive. However, excessive handling can result in sudden discharge.
Upon completion of ball replacement, the mouse may be used immediately. It is recommended that each engineer have a pair of spare balls for maintaining optimum customer satisfaction.
Any customer missing his balls should suspect local personnel of removing these necessary items. "
"This memo was from an unnamed computer company. It went to all field engineers about a computer peripheral problem. The author of this memo was quite serious, the engineers rolled on the floor."

unnamed computer company
It was the Iron Box Machine Company and, believe it or not, the engineer was not fired.
He was told, however, that he could no longer wear a blue oxford button-down and MUST immediately return to white.

My sister has 6 cats. They're mostly well-behaved and she keeps things clean, so it's not like a typical cat house. However once in awhile they become a bit out of hand.
One day she was using her computer and noticed that she couldn't get the mouse to move, so she checked it out and noticed the mouse cord was chewed apart.
She was furious and made all of her cats like.. stay in their room or something.. lol, I don't know.
But then the kicker. One of her friends was listening to her rant about it and he asked..
"What are you so upset about? They're cats, they're supposed to eat mice."

I just plug mine in when it dies but most the time I have to leave it plugged in, so it's like what's the point of having a cordless mouse? Once in a while it comes in handy, but rarely. I've been thru a few meecies myself, good luck with the new one
But when my keyboard starts to die that's another story

"The mouse is dead. Long live the mouse!"
My new mice don't have balls. Guess that means they are females. And will live longer....
