Its all about balance...lol. Have a savings account for just that. You get interest. Checking for the bills, wants and needs. Budget, budget and budget. With cost of living always going up, but the pay checks stay the same, who can save much these days.

And this people is why one should live within their means. You did it to yourself. Seems the whole world is forgetting how to do without if you can't afford it.
Proud to say that my credit card is overpaid, so they owe me money.

ur speaking for me, too.  i'm strictly the debit card sort. i put money on it when i want the convenience of plastic. no more arguing with institutions who want to get paid for mismanaging my money.
angel, some people dont make enough to save anything. at work, i talk to a lot of elderly or unemployed workers and part-timers who are barely making it anyway. the biggest gripe? astronomical heating bills. that's sickening, too!

u hesh, perhaps. u can always go take a dip in the pool, ocean, etc.  ugh, i just thought of my family reunion in tampa. i would hate to see the utility bills there; it was plain hot and muggy 24/7. whew!
