Boy howdy, have these things stirred up a ruckus.....by the way, has anyone actually seen them yet? I have, and to tell you the truth, they really just look like cartoons (granted I cant actually read what it says)....but still......the average "outraged militant muslim" hasnt seen them either!!!! I kinda wonder if we shouldnt just go paste them everywhere so they will get used to it and understand that its really no big deal.

lj, we all know when it comes to mohammed, some ppl's minds aint good. there's no reasoning with them about it being just a cartoon because of the aforementioned reason.
i hope all the comedy shows picking on this issue are ready to hide wherever salman rushdie is (britain, right?).

I think there is a new Jesus cartoon every 5 seconds......yet I feel compelled to kill no one.
A French satirical paper is fanning the flames some more......they apparently printed new cartoons of the prophet muhammed, with his head in his hands saying "Its hard to be loved by idiots"

mary, i HATE that about the media. damn, how many times must we look at the same snippet over and over and over?  then they solemnly thank the other "journalist" for covering whatever. uh, isn't that their job? not like they've discovered the cure for the dumbazz or something.

I can't see the cartoons very well, and I can't print them, for some reason. Iwould like to say that Iread something yesterday, I think by Ann Coulter, but I can't find it now.
Something to the effect of Muslims being angry about being depicted as violent people who have riots and burn things as a form of demonstration that sometimes leads to human death, injury and suffering.
Who's been misrepresenting these poor people?

They do not want to hear it, but through the centuries the Muslims have always been a people at war, either with others or themselves. Do not look for this to change. Freedom for
Iraq? Look at the Sunnis and Shihites.

yep, raykl, and that's why i'm always puzzled when someone truly believe any politician can change a people who have institutionalized and cemented such behavior for centuries.
