There is a line drawn in the sand, you can cross that line and have one of whatever you like,be it money,a person, someone who died and can come back, anything at all but after you cross that line your memory of your life to this point will be gone.

That's a tough one and I'm not sure I could answer it.

No, absolutely not. I could not give up all I have today for any one thing. That would mean losing your family and also in a sense deserting any and all that love you or depend on you.

I would not cross that line. The things I want or desire in my life are not worthy enough to give up what I've experienced. That which does not kill us, makes us stronger....and I'm getting stronger every day. I can think of nothing that I desire so much as to basically give up my life "as-is" right now.

I got this question in an email awhile ago and I thought no at first and then thought that I could because I could relearn some memory using pictures and listening to what those say about my life that do remember.
To many invariables to make that decision I guess.

Very cool ?? Jankia No way here. It makes you really think though. Just talked with some friends a couple of days ago about something along these lines. A couple I know about 10 yrs ago was breaking up his stuff was packed an he was leaving after work. On her way to work she was in a bad car accident that left her in a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Now they could not see life without each other. When ask if she wished the accident never happened she said noway. She is very happy as she is and would never chage anything.

In effect, I would be a newborn baby in an old man's body. I wouldn't do it.

Yes I would.
I would lose a memory of an addiction, pain, and hurting others.
I could have back the only person I cared about in this world.

No... I could not cross that line.
Even though there are some memories in the past that
I'd like to forget ( Due to poor choices that I had made )
I couldn't imagine living without all the memories...
My childhood...
My children...
My grandsons...
All these memories has helped make me the person
that I am today.

Thats exactly what I would do . But I have so much to give to other people due to my experiances. That I know it was God's divine plan for me. So no i would not change a thing . I just leave Him in control of my life ...steps 1 2 and 3

No, I would not cross the line. My memories and experiences are what make me who I am and I like who I am.
Funny... the only thing that even remotely tempts me is seeing my dad. He passed away almost six years ago. But if I crossed the line and had my wish fulfilled to have him back, I would not remember him, right? Since I would lose all memory of my life to that point... That would, in effect, cause me to lose everyone because, without my memories everyone would all be gone...
I'll stay on my side of that line... thank you very much.

No temptation for me....because having lost all memory, I wouldn't know who any of my loved ones were, whether I had them back or not. Besides, that's knowingly messing with fate and I wouldn't wanna do that. I'm here now for a reason, I'll stick around and find out why (even if it's to torture my forum buddies )

ummm..tempting....how long do i have to make that decision might effect my decision.....because i just might be able to work my memory back into the equation some how.....mmmmm still tempting
EDIT: more thinking..lol
thing is you said that if i cross the line memory would be gone...but i got what ever i want on the other side...but you also never stated that i could not cross back over the line and go back to my memory (current state) ..if that is the case OH YES i would cross that line in a heartbeat

I wouldn't cross the line. As much as I would love to have someone back that died. I wouldn't give up the memories that I have. I wouldn't want to forget my children or anything that has happened to me. My memories are precious to me, so nope wouldn't give them up for anything.
