I was just making a samich for myself when this question arose.
When putting the bread away do you use the twist tie or do you use the spin and flip method?
I'm a spin and flipper as I suspect most men are.

Twist tie. It's more secure.

Ok, guess I am a freak. I toss the tie, spin, and then take the extra and wrap it back over on the end of the loaf.

Spin and flip, then tuck the end under and return bread to the refrigerator.

I just eat as much as I can and throw the rest out.....once that nasty air hits your bread, its all downhill from there.

Funny thing is I don't even eat bread. Just have it in the house for the kid. And I agree with lj that the stuff just gets stale in a heart beat. Have put it in the refrigerator before and that sure made it taste icky.

spin and flip, drives my sons nuts, they both use the stupid little clips (that always seem to work loose). If you normally toast your bread, just keep it in the freezer and toast as needed.

Ive never understood the bread in the fridge thing.......I always thought that the fridge would draw the moisture out of food......which is exactly what you are trying to avoid with bread.

I put my bread in the fridge in the summer, as the Ohio humidity can make a loaf mold in 2 days flat! The rest of the year it stays on the counter.
Jeez...this could be a thread on it's own!
