Faith..what does it mean to you?

To ME Faith isn't about hoping that something is real, it's about hoping IN something that IS REAL. But yet some people think that faith is about just believing such and such a thing is real.To ME and this is just my opinion, Faith is about TRUSTING in something that is sure or REAL. It's not about just SEEING something, then hoping with all your might that it is true. Faith is the TRUST I have in myself to do the right thing.
My question is: What does Faith mean to you?

Faith is advertised in our local event paper as dancer down at some adult club. 
Faith, to me, is an educated guess at the unknown. For example, driving your car with a broken gas tank meter, and getting where ever you need to go. However, you know that you can't be stupid about it.

Darn it Tink I did not wanna have to THINK today. But now you have gone and got me to pondering what does faith mean to ME. Do i believe in a here after? Well I HOPE that things improve after I am dead. They sure suck now.  Do I believe like the Jesus freaks DEMAND I believe? Uh no. I kind of envy SOC. He can state his beliefs and make it clear he is trying to make HIS beliefs known, not that all should fall in line behind him and worship as he does. To me THAT is a sign of Faith. Ok back to lurking, can't articualte myself.

Pretty much agree with you tink.
To me faith is a product of experencing something that is real, you learn to trust because you have been shown it is real and constant.
