This forum has gotten so bad I don't even want to post here anymore. One thread after another I read where someone comes in, injects their opinion then attacks everyone else who disagrees...This is the last thread I'll ever start. I'm not going to name any names or accuse anyone in particular, but there are a select few who have either nothing constructive to say, or nothing nice to say, or attempt to belittle anyone else who is making a point that's opposite of their opinion. I'm done with this forum. This is a freaking dating site not the United Nations. I come here to meet people and have fun. I don't want to get sucked into anymore crap because I am constantly having to catch myself falling into the behavior of defending myself or others. I'm not gonna answer to any of you any more...

Hate to see you go.
You're one of my favorite posters here.
However, I definitely know what you mean about the negative crap.
I won't bother mentioning some of the silliness I've been assaulted with lately.
It's a shame to see the forums get slaughtered by a handful of negative folks.
All I can say is that they make me want to  .

I too hate to see you go...I've enjoyed your posts and learned a lot from your opinions.

Yup..makes me want to do that too..but I`ve chosen to ignore those that display that kind of behavior..although I did lose my cool the other day..sometimes its just impossible to ignore.Especially when your defending someone close to you...but you have too.Just my opinion..nuttin` more. 
Have to ask you this...if you leave, aren't you letting the spoilers win?
You`ve got that right..I was told the same thing when I was gonna leave..but I chose to stay..I won`t be running away..  but my nanners will..

To me it's not letting the spoilers win. See the first comment in this thread? An idiotic comment by someone I don't even know for no good reason at all. Thunderscribe I read where you got hammered by that one girl..she was so wrapped up in her opinion she never even bothered to read what you wrote..LOL..You didn't even say anything bad at all!! You were just making conversation!! I couldn't believe it.

Annie the truth is is it's a public forum and anybody and everyone can post, I am just choosing not to anymore because I'm really just tired of the negativity and griping and fighting...Who wants to read that all the time? So my choice is just to do other things. I'll still talk to my friends I am not leaving the site.

The objectives of forum bullies are power and domination. The forum bully knows that he/she has not formally received the authority to regulate a forum so they use the forum mod to enforce THEIR interpretation of forum regulations on everyone else.
Some are more blatant than others and openly post directives, the sole purpose of which is to bring all activity to a grinding halt and focus everyone's attention on the psuedo power they now wield, making sure everyone else follows the rules to 'their' satisfaction.
It is best to refuse to consign any importance to their posts or to respond to it. In this case, the post is as insignificant as the poster. Although, it is a little more difficult when the forum mod becomes a drone of the forum bully and allows that individual to usurp his/her power and wield it like a stick over the heads of everyone else. I see that in the selective deleting of some posts but not others.
Forum bullies are very practiced at showing the public persona of a person who is faultless and charming to others..only those being targeted know the real truth. In reality, forum bullies are calculating and emotionally underdeveloped.

 In other words their very clever at hiding the little innuendos and digs that they dish out..You just can`t let yourself be led into the spiders web..I myself did that and believe me its not a nice feeling at all knowing you put yourself down to their level.
Besides..you ever try to get spider webs out of your hair? (sorry had to lighten up..*grin*

You hit the nail on the head.....adults should be able to act and behave like adults....with respect for others.....I've had a passive aggressive personality follow me around....just trying to provoke....dig dig dig ....and ive seen the same behavior inflicted on others....to the point when they spoke out...the person...doing the provoking....ran tattling to the mods and got the others banned.....
